I’ve installed the Google Assistant on my raspberrypi, but the icon/device shows as offline. Is this normal?

(I don’t yet have a microphone attached to my physical setup to test responses)

After some assistance with setting up the module.
I follow the wiki instructions and when I get to the token install the testing conversation results as follows.

Is there a reason that the response is blank? What is the resolution please?
