@Fabaude EXT-Bring won’t work with voice right? Didn’t Google cut the support last summer?

RE: Telegrambot and SpotifyCanvasLyrics
Ok,
I got the Telegrambot command to work. Turns out CanvasLyrics didn’t like being assigned to a specifik page. Once I removed it from the page the TB-command started working.
Ok, didn’t know that. I use the Magic Mirror as a player in the kitchen so naturally when I play Spotify in the kitchen the lyrics pop up and covers the screen. I’ll either remove it or just use the TelegramBot to turn off lyrics.
Thank you for the reply

PS: Just out of curiosity, would it be hard to make a recipe for turning off and on that module by voice?

Telegrambot and SpotifyCanvasLyrics
Hello again,
I’ve been trying a lot of different setups and the latest I’ve tried is getting EXT-Pages the way I want it.
First I thought to try placing EXT-SpotifyCanvasLyrics on a separate page to not have it block all the other modules. But I read another ticket where you explained about the pop-up and it not being a module.
Next thing I tried was to setup the Telegrambot and try to turn the Lyrics on and off from there but it won’t work.
Other commands work fine. Ie query, spotify and so on. But Lyrics on and off doesn’t turn on and off the lyrics.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Is there a way to make a recipe to be able to tell the assistant to hide or turn off lyrics?
Kind Regards

EXT-Bring
Hello!
I hope everything is good with you Bugsounet.
I have a couple of questions about EXT-Bring.
It doesn’t work with any of my preferred languages. (Swedish or US English). I can only get it to work with default language. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?
The second question is if it’s still possible to use it with Voice commands or if Google removed that one?
Thank you!
Kind regards
BagronkEdit: The module stops working if I put anything other than 0 in lang. Tried changing languages in the app but that didn’t help.

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hi, that’s where I got the idea. Thank you for that and to Bugsounet ofcourse.
I’m running my mirror on a Elitebook i7 so in my case it shouldn’t be an issue with lov voltage.

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hmm, I just added EXT-Governor to the config and now the delay is gone. I did try it with governor yesterday when I added it and the delay was still there. But this morning the delay was gone.
What I did was that I added EXT-Governor and then set it to performance on both sleeping and working.

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hello!
I’m thinking about doing a new project and set the assistant up with the new one and see if that would help with the delay. Any idea if that would help?

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
What I can’t figure out is why it works normally when texting a request through the gateway but using voice takes 13 seconds. Anyone has an answer to this? It’s still a request to the assistant right?

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Thank you for replying. “Glad” i’m not the only one. Like you said, not a big issue, just a bit irretating. The main use is the information on the screen so… We’ll just have to see if it gets better later on.

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hello,
Well. I’ve checked everything I can on my end.
The delay seems to be Google. If I check the Assistant API the average latency it’s 13 seconds which seems to be right. I don’t know if there is anything I can do about that. But I would like to know if someone else is experiencing the same.
Kind Regards.

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hello and Happy New Year!
I can also add that I have updated the mirror and rebuilt some of the modules and removed ones that weren’t being used.
The assistant still takes a good long while to respond. It listens fine. It stops listening fine. Then it takes 30 sec to post the result of my command. Like I said earlier. When I do it by text from the Gateway it posts the result after less than a sec.
I should also mention that I don’t use a Pi. I use a Elitebook with Ubuntu on it. It worked fine at first. I don’t know what changed.
Kind Regards

RE: Assistant taking a long time to post result.
@bugsounet Hi!
Thank you for the answer.
I should add that also “stop” command takes a long time to execute. So if, for example, I’m playing Spotify and do Jarvis - Stop to stop everything, that command takes a long time as well.
If i send the request from the gateway it goes through and fast as usual.
I saw that I actually do have an error when I check the Terminal Output but I think it has been there all along. But I can’t see what is causing it.
I have until now only been using “Jarvis”. But I tried porcupine and “Ok, Google.” and it was the same. Takes forever between taking the command to executing.
Additional troubleshooting:
Tried turning off the Pihole.
Speedtest - showed nothing out of the ordinary.
Ping to google DNS no issues.
Reinstalled EXT-Detector -
Assistant taking a long time to post result.
Hello! Hope you are well and that it’s not to much stress for you as the holidays are coming up.
I’ve been having some issues with the assistant.
Suddenly it started to wake up for everything. So I tweaked the sensitivity and the microphone volume a bit and that worked. But now, a couple of weeks after, it takes for ever to come up with a reply.
Jarvis command works and it starts listening.
I takes my voice command and stops listening.
Then it takes a long time to post the result of my command. Before it was only a couple of seconds.Troubleshooting:
Set the sensitivity back to “null”
Restarted the mirror
Restarted the PC it’s running on.
Tried both 2.4 and 5.0 wifi (the 5.0 signal is weaker were the mirror is)
Checked the system monitor so it’s not a CPU or RAM issue.
NPM run updateI tried searching the forum but didn’t find a issue like this one.
Best Regards!

RE: Play Button
Nevermind. It’s me being a newbie. I managed to find the players URL and all is good.

Play Button
Hello!
I’m trying to add some Swedish radio channels but I’ve run into a problem.
Most of the Swedish stations use a play button. That is, the radio doesn’t start playing when you enter the page. You need to press a play button for the radio to start. Is there a solution or workaround for this?
I’v tried the links in VLC and that doesn’t work either with the channels I’ve tried. I does work with one of the french channels I tried out just to test. Also the french channel works with the MM.
Kind Regards

RE: Authentification error when GA trying to open calendar
Oh too bad. But thank you for this otherwise GREAT code!

RE: Authentification error when GA trying to open calendar
Same issue here. I tell GA to “add to calendar” and it replies that I need to give it permission to do so in GA on the phone. The permission is already there. I got the notification to permit Calendar in assistant butter after pressing it. Nothing happens.
