Unsolved GoogleAssistant v6.2.1 EXT-Detector delay
-
Hi, for some reason when i use GA from Tool Box Google Assistant Request i get voice answer almost immediately max 2 sec after chime. But when i use hot word detector (picovoice/jarvis/okay google) i need to wait almost 9 sec after chime before voice answer comes. If someone has solution for this it would be more than great i have already tried mic sensivity settings and checked that CPU or GPU is not on heavy load. Using Raspberry 3B+

Hi,
Can you try with only
clock
,MMM-GoogleAssistant
,EXT-Detector
modules ?
Don’t forget it’s an rpi 3b+, poor CPU and only 1Gb of RamRpi 3b+ don’t like:
- animation
- a lot of modules (so many)
GPU Accelerated rendering can help
EXT-Governor inperformance
mode can help
overclock can help -
I will try and i’m thinking to update to Raspberry 5 8Gb model
-
I just buy an Rpi5 4Go
I think it’s really enough -
I´m not sure how much advantage with extra 4GB (+20€) but should be good for long time

@bugsounet I did GPU accelerating (help lot), EXT-Governor to performance mode (help little) and overclock to 1450Mhz… I also found that my pi is running on low voltage and with 600Mhz. Temperature is not issue only about 39.5-42 decrees. My power supply is 60W phone charger, maybe i need to get official power supply.
