Solved EXT-Pir stopped working after G.A. install
Again, many thanks for all the wonderful modules.
The new GA is a treat to install compared to older versions.
My MagicMirror is up and running for a couple of month’s now and the Ext-Screen and Ext-Pir have worked flawless.
Today I installed GA (as per tutorial, so also installed EXT-gateway and EXT-detector). GA works like it should. The Pir module also turns down the screen after the set time. Most be honest I’m not sure it still has the 5 minutes I’ve set. It
But most of the time it won’t wake up anymore. On some rare occasions it will, but this involves rebooting or restarting the MagicMirror. Magic Mirror still runs when it stays blank, as can be seen by the MMM-Remote-Controle. The Pi works with SSH and Magic Mirror can be stopped which immediately shows the normal Pi environment.
EXT-Pir start without any errors:
[03.05.2022 19:54.25.475] [LOG] [PIR] All needed @bugsounet library loaded ! [03.05.2022 19:54.25.478] [LOG] [PIR] PIR Library v1.1.0 Initialized... [03.05.2022 19:54.25.511] [LOG] [PIR] Initialize Complete Version: 1.0.1 rev: 220403
Also EXT-Screen doesn’t give an error:
[03.05.2022 20:06.44.330] [LOG] [SCREEN] EXT-Screen Version: 1.1.1 rev: 220403 [03.05.2022 20:06.44.333] [LOG] [SCREEN] Mode 1: vcgencmd [03.05.2022 20:06.44.384] [LOG] [SCREEN] Initialized
PM2 Log also doesn’t show any error’s or problems.
I’m a bit lost where to look. Is there something embedded in the GA module which I didn’t see? Can someone point me in the right direction please?
all my modules/EXT are not ready for working with RemoteCotrol, it’s launch another instance of node_helper and make trouble
Okay, thanks good to know.
Not sure what changed but it’s working flawlessly.
