Hi guys and thank you very much for all this info about installing MagicMirror and all these additional modules which boost up the look of the mirror. This forum is amazing and thank you once again for all your time and effort in sharing all this with others.

I would just like to ask/propose is to maybe consider implementing the possibility of playing videos alongside photos displayed in this module. Many of us take videos of kids and family on the same occasions on our cell phones so if there would be a possibility to play videos and display photos from the same source/folder would be amazing thing.

      Thank you all!

Thank you for the info and feedback. Really appreciated! Yes, I get it about the coding… I’m not skilled there but I get it it’s time-consuming.
I use Pi for several other things as well but magic mirror only started on Pi for me. Some modules that I use are already lagged on Pi so will not use it for my project. I use an older dual-core laptop with some graphics instead of Raspberry. For magic mirror, this option is much better considering that components like mic, camera, and display are already incorporated while Raspberry requires all of that separately. Those machines are capable of running videos without problems so maybe it would still not be a waste of time 🙂
Anyway, thank you for all this once again. Magic mirror is really cool project and following this forum made the project much easier in many ways!
          Cheers from Croatia
