NF is not coding for multi-view using because it not recreate the module on each time of new news displaying.
It update only needed field with new value (for RPI more faster and less cpu time and ram).
For this it use a prename field to update and search the first name of it to replace value

So in a multi-module using, every module will be on the same module place and other duplicate module created will not displayed

I also would love to have 2 instances running as I wanted to show general news and local town news.
I understand that it is not possible for multi viewing but perhaps you could create a copy and name it differently (MMM-NewsFeed-2)

            Would you consider that?

            Thanks

@djb1966 said in Have two news feeds at same time:

                MMM-everynews

But that one requires the usage of an API key and my for my local news I don’t need that and probably won’t have access to it through that API - but thanks for the info.

@bugsounet - would it be an option if you agree to fork your module and name it MMM-NewsFeed2 or would you like to create a duplicate?
