Lost menu bar
Can anyone help after doing a update to bullseye I have lost my menu bar in the raspberry os, does anyone know how to get this back?
can you give me the content of this ?
Here you go.
GNU nano 5.4 /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart
@lxpanel --profile LXDE-pi
@pcmanfm --desktop --profile LXDE-pi
@xset s noblank
@xset s off
maybe this can help
I will give it a go, and let you know how i got on.
Ok tried that still no menu bar but now when it boots up the menu bar flashes on and off about 5 times then disappears.
Have you got anything else i can try?
I have never have this problem, so it’s complex to solve…
Maybe restart with fresh install by using this tool can help ?
@Kazzer Hi Kazzer, I have had this problem. It happened when I installed my sound card in bullseye. It seems to be caused by pulseaudio somehow. I had to uninstall my sound card to get the menu bar back.
@lxne Hi lxne,
Thanks i will try this and let you know how i get on.
@bugsounet Thanks for trying to help, if i can’t fix it i will use the tool to restart with a fresh install.
Just to let you know i fixed my issue by doing these commands.
