      Hello bugsounet, hello all,

i try to update Gateway to V3.
After getting an error on OS-Version, i updated my PI (sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get upgrade, restart) but i still get this message:

      ...
      Checking OS...
      OS Detected: linux-gnueabihf (raspbian 10 armv7l)
Unfortunately, this module is not compatible with your OS
Try to update your OS to the lasted version of raspbian

      npm ERR! code 255
      npm ERR! path /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/Gateway
      npm ERR! command failed
npm ERR! command sh -c installer/preinstall.sh

Can anyone give me a hint, if i did something wrong or must i do something additional?

      Info:
      Linux: 5.10.103-v71+
      node: V16.14.2
      npm: v8.5.0

      Thanks for help
      Ralph

          Thanks very much,
have now updated to bullseye. Unfortunately there were some problems with Wifi but it works now.
Will update gateway later. But I have good hope that it will work now.
          Thanks again
          ralph

I also had issue with WIFI during the upgrade ==> I had to rollback the last PI firmware.

              Salut @bugsounet
Je suis toujours émerveillé par ta rapidité et tes idées
J’attends avec impatience les wiki en attente 😉
J’ai un souci avec la mise à jours de gateway
              Voilà ce que j’ai

              Ready for Installing…
              npm ERR! code EBADENGINE
              npm ERR! engine Unsupported engine
npm ERR! engine Not compatible with your version of node/npm: minify@9.2.0
npm ERR! notsup Not compatible with your version of node/npm: minify@9.2.0
              npm ERR! notsup Required: {“node”:“>=16”}
              npm ERR! notsup Actual: {“npm”:“9.6.1”,“node”:“v14.21.2”}

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in:
              npm ERR! /home/pi/.npm/_logs/2023-03-14T17_39_44_690Z-debug-0.log
              pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror/modules/Gateway $
Je vois bien que ça vient de node mais je n’ai aucunes idées de comment le mettre à jour sur la bonne version, je sais que certaines posent des soucis
              Bonne soirée à toi 😉

if you have problems with wifi once upgraded give on cli (with raspberry connected with cable) the command
                    connmanctl enable wifi
                    or
                    connmanctl wifi enable

                    can’t remember the sequence 🙂

L’installation de MM étais antérieure à ton wiki donc je n’est pas installer 😕
J’ai tout de même réussi avec vos réponses à tout mettre à jour 😊👍
                        Merci les gars

please be aware … better to disable conman altogether

                          sudo apt-get purge connman

uhm… it was in my upgrade.
anyway…it does not persist network settings at startup (i.e. turns off wifi).
any idea on how to rotate screen at startup?
using xrandr once booted but have not been able to do it at startup
