Hi ! Thanks a lot for all this work 🙂 I have use MM and GA for 2 years. And last week, i decided to update and install a new clean version of Magic Miror.
No problem during installation of MM, GA module, gateway (this is really amazing !) and EXT-detector. After installation, all was ok, and Jarvis or Ok Google was detected.
But after reboots, i have the folowing message in my log and keywords are no longer detected :
[LPCM16] WARN: arecord: main:830: erreur à l’ouverture audio: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
The message come every 2 or 3 seconds.
I have tested arecord and aplay and it is ok : i can record and listen the result. But there is a problem with detection.

Have you ever see this message ? I can send you configuration, logs or other information !

      Thanks in advance

        Hi,

This issue will happen when you modify .asound.rc file

        why ?
before Buster Os, we have to use and configure .asound.rc file
Now, everything is automatic with default interface. This interface is used with pulseaudio and this software can use multi-listener (with arecord AND default) at the same time

If you modify this file… the default configuration is destroy and you will have issue with your OS (because it use pulseaudio and default interface too !) and naturally MM² depend of the OS … and create issue

There is no configuration in config for sound recording and sound playing
Just use the main tool of the RPI desktop like you know with windows OS 🙂
