Solved Troubleshooting module not showing
-
Hi Bugsounet,
Thanks for confirming that the module is still working, I wasn’t sure since there has been no activity in here lately. So my problem is that it’s not showing anything, it’s empty although I have 6 items in my bring list.
So here is my code and troubleshooting steps beneath…
module: ‘EXT-Bring’,
position: ‘top_left’,
config: {
debug: false,
listName: “Shopping list”,
email: “mail.com”,
password: “secret”,
lang: 5,
columns: 3,
maxRows: 5,
updateInterval: 30000,
showBackground: true,
showBox: true,
showHeader: trueI have tried to change languages together with the language codes both in https://web.getbring.com/app/settings/ and mm2.
I’m not sure how else to troubleshoot it, do you have any ideas? Guidance?/noorm

Hi, I will check it soon
-
Oh no rush, just look into it when you have time.
I can also add I have “npm run update” and everything is up to date.If i turn debug: true, where can I find the logs?
-
in manual start with
npm start
(in MagicMirror directory)
if you usepm2
don’t forget to stop process -
Thank you!
I am not sure what happened, but I’m running mm2 as Docker container in serveronly mode.
I had to mount node_modules (which I did not have before) and restart the container…then everything suddenly came up? Maybe it was just the restart, no clue. -
I don’t use docker and don’t like serveronly reaction
I code only for RPI display outputin servemode: you launch X time and X instance of the API. So you can have quickly the limit of fetch autorized datas.
and if To many timers for fetch data… server will says … go out guys and wait a while (and no update)If it want to works…

I see, I will keep that in mind!
Thank you very much and for a good job with the module, your input helped me solve the problem at least. -
happy use
