Upgrating from Rpi3 to Rpi4
-
Hello @bugsounet. I hope you are doing well. I soon will replace my rpi3 with an Rpi4 4GB and I want to ask If I can insert into the new pi the SD card from the old one where everything is installed and working in order to avoid fresh installations and new project on GA. I asked this question at Magic Mirror forum as well but I would like your advice too for this. From Magic Mirror forum they replied that I can do it since my built is younger than 3 years old when Rpi4 came out. Since you are the expert about MM and GA I want your suggestion if this will work or I will run into troubles. Thank you in advance.

UPDATE!
Hello everyone. I would like to tell you that I just migrate from Rasberry pi 3B+ to Rasberry pi 4B 4GB. I just want to tell you that It worked perfectly by just instering the SD from the old pi. The only thing I had to do Is to configure the audio output bacause I use hdmi to transfer audio. Everything else worked as a charm. OS, MM, GA, leds everything. I made this update in case someone else is thinking if it is possible. Well IT IS!!!
