    I installed the EXT-Bring manually when I had this problem. I could sign in on the Android App. I could sign in on the Bring web page on Chrome. I could not make get the EXT-Bring to sign in with the proper credentials. I removed everything for EXT-Bring from my config.js file. I logged in to Gateway and installed EXT-Bring and now everything works. I cannot see ANY difference in the config.js file from my manual install and the Gateway install.

    @bugsounet thanks I recently turned off the WiFi powersave settings because I thought it kept dropping out due to this but now you mention it the error started since I switched it off. Im not sure what else it could be in the wifi settings but I’ll reinstate power save and see how it goes. Thanks for your help and this great project.

    Did you try the following from the wiki?

    Refresh / Major Updating
    This new command allow force reinstall or update all MMM-GoogleAssistant components:
    MMM-GoogleAssistantand all EXTs installed
    This command make automatic things !

    This command can be used when a new MagicMirrorÂČ version is installed
    When you have too many MMM-GoogleAssistant components to update
    When you want to refresh (like a first install) all MMM-GoogleAssistant components

    cd ~/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-GoogleAssistant
    npm run refresh

    Hi could someone explain how to install EXT-photos module?
    Even thouth I’ve been doing this for a long time could someone explain the {} brackets []
    I’ve always lined top and last bracket don’t actually know if this correct ,
    I’ve got a book js but no mention the order of brackets.
    Please Explain.

    So it’s means that your sensor make some fake positive and reset counter (counter will never end)

    see manual of your sensor and lower the sensitivity maybe your sensor near a heat source -> try moving it somewhere else sensor failed -> try to change it

    This is working great with the PIR for turning off the screen, however I would like a turn off screen override for certain hours. I tried it with “OFF” function, however the PIR wakes the screen even after the screen off schedule is set. I there a way around this for a “Master” shutoff override or a way to simply set the PIR to hide all modules and then have the module scheduler turn off the screen at night without interruption from the PIR?

    Thanks and I apologize in advance if this has been answered somewhere else.

    Got it, I also had to delete the previously created “Selfies” album and let the updated EXT-GooglePhotos make a new one with correct permissions.

    Another issue I have noticed is that after a few minutes Spotify stops playing and disappears off my screen even though my devices show that the track is playing on MagicMirror.

    Ok,

    I got the Telegrambot command to work. Turns out CanvasLyrics didn’t like being assigned to a specifik page. Once I removed it from the page the TB-command started working.

    Ok, didn’t know that. I use the Magic Mirror as a player in the kitchen so naturally when I play Spotify in the kitchen the lyrics pop up and covers the screen. I’ll either remove it or just use the TelegramBot to turn off lyrics.

    Yes, installed today assistant and gateway and works great with the stop command. Thank you for all this, great work!
    Fyi, i’m installing all this to an older laptop which is planned to be used as mirror hardware.
