RE: pm2 not detected
@bugsounet said in pm2 not detected:
Hi,
I use pm2 but it is not detected by MMM-GoogleAssistant
- If you launch MM² with
pm2
app, some rule will be apply for restarting MM² -->[GA] [WEBSITE] [PM2] You are using PM2 with xxxx
in logs - If you launch MM² with
npm start
other rules are apply for restarting -->[GA] [WEBSITE] [PM2] You don't use PM2
in logs
Actually what I mean is that I do start MM with PM2 but in the logs it does not detect it.

Not an issue - question
Question:
Why is MMM-RemoteControl incompatible with MMM-GoogleAssistant?Honestly I love you module when using the PC but find also the remote control interface on mobile really handy and miss it.
Anoter question about the API that it provided: are they available anyway available with just MMM-GoogleAssistant?
I find it useful to have the possibility to interact with MM programmatically from other applications (i.e. Homeassistant, iOS actions etc)Thanks for all the work, I had not updated since a while and found a little revolution

RE: Option to run custom Script
Yes it does and indeed it is the way it is hooked up now.
But it completely switches off the tv
I would like to put it in standby.
I could achieve that if i can run a script -
Option to run custom Script
Hi
Feature Request:
Would be nice to have the option to run an external script for turn/on turn/off actions. Background: I currently turn off completely the monitor via relay.
I would switch to turning it in standby.
To do that I can send a post call to the Homeassistant API that will call a script that is calling the Remote Harmony function Turn Off ONThanks

Fix for legacy modules
Hello and happy holidays
Some time ago @bugsounet you published a fix for many standard magicmirror modules that were non working. It was I think rebuilding and fixing something
I think it was on the original Mm forum.
I can’t find it anymore.
If you know what I am referring too could you please repost here or give a pointer? Thanks and bonne annee

RE: MMM-Buttons
So basically one inhibits the motion detection. The other turns off. Linked to a physical switch

RE: MMM-Buttons
I refer to this functions:
I have some bistable buttons that I used to link to this behaviour of mmm-piralwaysOnPin If you would like to use a GPIO pin to trigger power-saving mode. Ideal for users who want to have a physical switch that controls whether or not to use the motion sensor.
Possible values: int
Default value: false
Note: Please use BCM-numbering.
alwaysOnState GPIO-state to trigger always-on.Possible values: int (0 or 1)
Default value: 1
alwaysOffPin If you would like to use a GPIO pin to trigger sleep mode. Ideal for users who want to have a physical switch to shut off the screen (perhaps the mirror is too bright at night).Possible values: int
Default value: false
Note: Please use BCM-numbering.
alwaysOffState GPIO-state to trigger always-off.Possible values: int (0 or 1)
Default value: 1
