UNSOLVED Monitor on/off on demand
is there a way with this module to turn on/off the monitor when I would like to ?
I can schedule it like this
ON: [ "0 7 * * *", "0 17 * * *", "15 8 * * *" ], OFF: [ "30 8 * * *", "0 23 * * *" ]
but when currently off, I would like to be able to turn it on with a button for example.
So I’m trying to find a command line (call to API or whatever) to do it.
Thanks for your answers
Sorry, this feature is not coded.
Actually, I can’t add some feature why? It’s an open source project but coded for my work… I have to ask permission. Bouah… Like all entreprise… It will take a long time
Actually I have only permission to publish 2 project. But also 3 other are in demand to publish and naturally no news…
hello and thanks for the suggestion.
But actually it does not help because I don’t want to poweroff the computer that hosts magicmirror (neither the screen itself).
It would take too much time to boot or be turned on when standing next to it.
Don’t worry, I’ll try to do it with a bunch of commands over ssh (xset ?).
As the button I mentioned is handled by my jeedom app, I’ll use maybe the “script” plugin or something like this.
I didn’t know you were coding this for your company.
If you don’t mind my asking, what kind of company do you work for ?
I have coded some modules with MagicMirror core, for displaying many information about my compagnies (News (with MMM-FTV), Production information with MMM-XXX (read database of the copmpagnie), stats , …) and display it in a big scrteen in the hall and in production workshop
Naturally, this module allow to open/close the screen automaticaly
