Modules to manage Sonoff devices via Alexa & Google Assistant
-
I have many Sonoff devices install
They have a nice app to enable you to manage these devices
I would love a modules to see the status on MM and be able to switch them on or off via Alexa or Google Assistant
Happy to contribute for thisJohan

I thinks sonoff is ready for using with Google assistant, juste add it with Google home app and GA will control it natively
-
@bugsounet how would one go about adding my mirror to “My Google Home” ? Is this possible .
-
actually, not really require and you will just have an icon with no function (because not fonction added) but later i have planned to control it with google home

Like @bugsounet told we can defenetly control our smart lights and sensors directly with GA natively but I would LOVE to find a way or a module to see the status ON/OFF/OFFLINE etc on the Magic Mirror it self. There’s a module called MMM-TuyaSL from slametps. it’s supposed to do exactly this with just the app installed in your phone however, but for some reason this module doens work for me.
I even contacted the author and also tried here with no luck. Actually i started to build build my MM with this in mind. Now o have everything except this, so any suggestions/ideas are very welcome

@bugsounet ohhh man, that’s very close to what we are looking for for sure. What about a simple smart lamp? I have a couple of them running here at home, the other ones are ZigBee lamps and switches.
Can we make something to help you with? Because i see a ton of people asking to use Smart Mirrors like simple status panels for home appliances. I have started my Magic Mirror of this, they are just perfect for this purpose!
There’s a module for Home Assistant but it envolves a second Raspberry Pi witch is a no go for most of the people.Btw, you have forgot my “translator” tag

Do you have this on a module ready for action? I would love to use it in my Mirror also. It could be very handy

Ready naturally but you can’t use this
It use an router API from my ISP
It’s the result of this module -
