SOLVED Compatibility with Rpi 3b+
I’m not sure I really understood. Is MMM-GoogleAssistant v3 compatible with Raspberry pi 3 b+ ? If it isn’t how can I install v2?
OS: Raspbian 10 (Buster – 32-bit Version) is needed or debian 10 (buster)
RPI 4 > 2 Go RAM
Node: v10.24.x // v12.22.x (v14 should work too - Tested on debian 10 and 11 but not tested on RPI)
npm: > v6.13.x // v7.x
Linux: tested and developed on Linux Debian 10
Last tested: 02/07/2021 (Fresh Install on RPI 4)
It means that v3 in impossible for my Rpi.
Is it possible to have v2 ?
V2 is archived but can’t be used (library changed and many was destructed)
You can try v3 … but it will be very slow with Extented display
I think you can use it without ED
I don’t check pi version on start with install
after, it’s at your own risk, I don’t respond to issue with v3 with RPI3b+
That’s too bad to let down that module. It was working very well. I think I’m not the only one to be affected by this problem of compatibility. People still buy Rpi 3b+ or less for such a project.
I repeat again:
I advise an rpi4, after V2 works with rpi3b+: try v3, i should work too. (but slowly…)
